William Wordsworth, a British Romantic poet, wrote this beloved lyric poem in 1804, celebrating the beauty of nature and the bliss of solitude. This art song depicts the beautiful imagery of the poetry and is most suitable for recitals, concerts, examinations and festivals. It can be used on the RCM exams as a Teacher’s Choice Selection (level 7).
